Artist's Comments

This building is called "Papieren molenke", Dutch for a mill used for fabricating paper. This in particular was a water-based mill on the end of the 19th century in the middle of the Industrial Revolution. Somewhere after WWII it was bought by a mental institution but after a few years they left it to the elements 'till its present state as a sad witness for the times long forgotten.

No I didn't 'cause on the other side is a watering canal used in previous times for the mill. I didn't want to swim since it was like 8°C that day xD
